What you get

A business mailbox should be unremarkable. It should just work, on every device, without you thinking about it.

  • Your name, your domain

An address at your own domain rather than a free provider. It costs very little and it changes how quotes and invoices are received.

  • Calendars and contacts that sync

Roundcube webmail with a calendar built in, and CalDAV and CardDAV so your phone, laptop and tablet all show the same thing.

  • Spam and virus filtering

Filtering runs before mail reaches your inbox, with quarantine you can review so a legitimate message is never silently lost.

  • Encrypted connections

IMAP, POP3 and SMTP over TLS as standard, so mail is not travelling in the clear on a shared network.

  • Backed up daily

Mailboxes are included in the daily JetBackup snapshot, so a deleted folder is recoverable rather than gone.

  • Free mailbox migration

Moving from another provider? We bring your existing mail and folders across, not just the addresses.

Setting up your mail

Most clients are running within about ten minutes.

Log in to cPanel, open Email Accounts, and click Create. Choose the address and a password, and it is live immediately. You can add, remove and change passwords yourself at any time without contacting us.

Use IMAP so the same mail appears on every device. Incoming and outgoing server are both mail.yourdomain, with IMAP on port 993 and SMTP on port 465, both using SSL/TLS. Your username is the full email address. cPanel also generates a configuration file that sets this up automatically.

IMAP, in almost every case. It keeps mail on the server so every device sees the same inbox, and it means your mail is included in our daily backups. POP3 downloads and often deletes from the server, which puts your only copy on one device.

Yes, at no charge. Send us access to your current mail provider and we will copy the mailboxes across with their folder structure and existing messages intact, then help you cut the DNS over.

Usually a missing SPF, DKIM or DMARC record on your domain. We set these up when your account is created, but they can be lost if DNS is changed elsewhere afterwards. Open a ticket and we will check your records and fix them.
